Slim body, generous water tank
The Whirlpool DS242NF pairs a 175 mm-deep body with a 6 L water tank and 6th Sense mode. Dehumidifying capacity is 24 L/day at 30°C and 80% RH, or 14 L/day at 26.7°C and 60% RH.

Humidity, time and airflow controls
Touch controls and an LED display show humidity and time. Set a 1–24 hour timer or delayed start, select wide, upward or forward airflow, and adjust the horizontal louvers.
Water collection and daily care
6 L water tank
Overflow protection operates at 5.4 L. A full-tank indicator and automatic stop are provided; continuous drainage is also supported.
Washable filter and ionizer
A washable nano-silver pre-filter works alongside an independently operated ionizer. Filter-cleaning indication, internal drying and automatic defrost are included.
Leave room for airflow
The 175 mm measurement is the body depth. Allow the ventilation and tank-removal space specified in the manual; do not operate in a confined, unventilated wardrobe or between furniture. IP21 provides drip protection; do not spray or immerse the appliance.
