For example, if you buy a steam oven from BBE with a 1-year manufacturer warranty, you can purchase the "Extended Warranty" service to continue receiving 12 to 36 months of coverage after the manufacturer warranty expires.

About Service Contract

What is extended warranty service?
This is a service contract provided by Allianz, designed to provide support services for repair or replacement needs of your electrical products due to mechanical or electrical failures after the manufacturer warranty expires.
When should I purchase this service?
You can purchase this extended warranty service within 90 days of purchasing the electrical product from BBE.
How long does it take to receive the service certificate after purchasing extended warranty?
After purchasing the extended warranty service, you will receive the official registration certificate issued by Allianz within approximately one to two months. Please keep the certificate safe as you will need to provide it as proof when applying for service.
Can I transfer this extended warranty if I sell my product?
Yes. You can transfer the service contract to the new owner, but you must provide both the original purchase invoice and service certificate of the product.
How do I cancel the service contract?
You can cancel the contract within 14 days from the service certificate issue date and receive a full refund, provided you have not used any support services. If a service request has been made, no refund will be given.

Coverage & Benefits

What does the service cover?
Main coverage includes unlimited inspection services, unlimited repair services (including parts and labor costs), and product replacement service when the product cannot be repaired.
What happens if my product cannot be repaired?
Allianz will provide a one-time replacement with a product of equivalent quality and specifications, which may be a refurbished product. After replacement, the original product becomes property of Allianz, and the service contract terminates.
Under what circumstances can I get a product replacement?
Allianz will provide product replacement service under the following circumstances:
1. When the repair cost for covered parts exceeds the original product purchase price
2. When required parts are discontinued and the product cannot be repaired
Are there any limits on repair frequency or amount?
There is no limit on the number of inspections and repair services, but the total compensation amount cannot exceed the coverage limit of your selected plan, mostly calculated based on the product purchase price.
Can I use this service while my product is still under manufacturer warranty?
No. During the manufacturer warranty period, you should prioritize using the warranty service provided by the manufacturer. This extended warranty service only takes effect after the manufacturer warranty expires.
Which product categories are eligible?
The service covers various household and personal electronic products, such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, laptops, mobile phones, etc. Commercial products are not eligible.

Repair Service Application & Process

How do I apply for service when my product fails?
After the manufacturer warranty expires, if the product experiences mechanical or electrical failure, please call the customer service hotline listed on the service certificate. Before applying for service, just prepare your service certificate.
Do I need to bear the shipping costs for repair services?
It depends. For home service, technicians will come to your home to repair or collect the product, and deliver it back after repair without additional cost. For carry-in service, you are responsible for the cost of bringing the product to or from the repair center.
Will original parts be used for repairs?
For repairs or replacements, Allianz will choose to use new, remanufactured, or non-original parts that meet original manufacturer specifications.
