Door Compatibility Self-Assessment & Installation Charges FAQ:
To determine suitability for installation and potential additional charges, please consider the following:
- Door Thickness: Compatible with doors between 40-90mm.
- Distance from Lock Center to Door Edge: Requires 60 or 70mm. If greater (e.g., 100mm or 120mm), additional front and rear steel plates may be required (approx. $600 charge).
- Metal Gate Clearance: Distance between metal gate and door must be more than 75mm.
- Slide Faceplate Dimensions:
- 240 x 24 mm: No additional charges.
- 240 x 32 mm: Additional charges around $200.
- 254 x 32 mm: Additional charges around $200.
- Metal Surface Processing: If the door lock area has a metal surface, an additional processing fee of around $400 may apply.
- Note: All additional charges are for reference only and subject to the quoted price by Shun Hing Installation Master.
Suitable Door Types:
The Rasonic Smart Lock can be installed on wooden doors, iron doors, bronze doors, and security doors.
Existing Door Lock Assessment:
For existing door locks, measure the door thickness and the distance from the lock center to the door edge. Provide front and side view pictures of the door lock to the salesperson or installation master for suitability assessment.
Installation Service Reservation:

Important Precautions:
- Laser Void Label: For security, the laser void label on the packaging must be opened in front of the installation master. The company is not liable for loss or damage if the customer tears it themselves.
- Malfunction with Mechanical Key Inside: In an emergency where the mechanical key is inside and cannot be provided, if a technician must unlock by sabotage, an unlocking fee will be charged, and the company will not be liable for product damage.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Low Power Alert: The lock will provide voice and mobile phone application prompts when power is low. Remove and charge the lithium battery as soon as possible.
- Complete Power Outage (Outside Home): Use a spare mechanical key or use the USB port at the bottom of the lock body for emergency charging.
- Wi-Fi Configuration Failure: Check Wi-Fi password, ensure the device is connected to a 2.4G spectrum Wi-Fi network, and keep the device, mobile phone, and router within 1 meter during setup.
- Automatic Lock Function Failure: Press and hold the indoor lock button for 5 seconds, or press #0# + administrator password + 5# when the door is closed.
