What's Included in Standard Installation
- Unit Mounting: Professional mounting of the window-type air conditioning unit into a pre-existing standard window opening or sleeve.
- Electrical Connection: Basic electrical connection to an accessible, existing standard power outlet within a close proximity to the unit.
- Drainage Connection: Standard drainage pipe connection and routing (e.g., typically up to 2 meters) to a suitable drain point.
- Gap Sealing: Sealing of gaps around the installed unit for improved energy efficiency and weather protection.
- System Testing: Initial system check and operational testing to ensure the air conditioner functions correctly.
- Site Cleanup: Basic tidying of the immediate work area upon completion of the installation.
Important Notes & Exclusions
- Existing Power Supply: The customer is responsible for ensuring an appropriate and safe power supply point is available and compliant with local regulations.
- Additional Wiring/Piping: Any requirements for additional electrical wiring, extended drainage piping, or the supply and installation of new power points beyond standard provisions will incur extra charges.
- Structural Modifications: Charges apply for major structural modifications, chiseling, drilling through reinforced concrete walls, or alterations to non-standard windows/structures.
- Scaffolding/Special Access: Installation requiring scaffolding, crane, or special access equipment due to high-rise location or difficult access is not included and will be quoted separately.
- Removal/Disposal: Removal and disposal of old air conditioning units are not included in the standard package and may incur an additional fee. Please inquire if this service is required.
- Site Preparation: The customer is responsible for clearing the installation area and ensuring it is accessible and ready prior to the technician's arrival.
- Complex Installations: For installations in non-standard locations or those requiring complex solutions, please contact BBE customer service for a customized quote.
