Door Compatibility (Self-Assessment Guidelines):
To determine suitability for installation, please consider the following:
- Door Thickness: Must be between 40mm and 90mm.
- Distance from Lock Center to Door Edge: Should be 60mm or 70mm. If the distance is greater than 70mm (e.g., 100mm or 120mm), additional front and rear steel plates may be required, incurring an approximate charge of HKD$600.
- Distance between Metal Gate and Door: Needs to be more than 75mm.
- Faceplate Length x Width:
- 240 x 24 mm: No additional charges.
- 240 x 32 mm: Approximate additional charges of HKD$200.
- 254 x 32 mm: Approximate additional charges of HKD$200.
- Metal Surface Processing: If the door lock area has a metal surface, an additional processing fee of approximately HKD$400 may be charged.

Existing Door Locks:
Before purchase, it is recommended to measure your door thickness and the distance from the center of the lock to the door edge. Please take pictures (front and side view of the door lock) to consult with a salesperson or installation master to confirm suitability.

Q: What are the precautions for the laser void label on the packaging box?
A: For security reasons, the laser void label on the packaging box must be opened in front of the installation master. If the customer tears the void label by themselves, the company will not be liable for any loss or damage to the product.
Q: If the smart lock malfunctions, but the mechanical key is inside the house?
A: In an emergency, if the customer fails to provide the mechanical key and the technician can only unlock it by sabotage, an unlocking fee will be charged. In addition, the company will not be liable for any damage to the product.
Q: What should I do if the power supply is almost out of power?
A: If the power supply is about to run out, there will be voice and mobile phone application prompts. Please remove the lithium battery and charge it as soon as possible.
Q: What should I do if I am outside the house and the lithium battery is completely out of power?
A: The door can be opened with a spare mechanical key.
Q: Any residential installation cases in Hong Kong?
A: Rasonic Smart Locks have successful installation cases in general private buildings, Home Ownership Scheme, public housing estates, and government dormitories in Hong Kong. This includes various lock types such as European style door locks with 24mm faceplates, American door locks with 32mm faceplates, American-style door locks with dual-frame doors + 32mm faceplates and dual-frame brackets, and 100mm Cylindrical door knob locks (requiring front and rear steel plates). Installation cases for other smart lock brands like Samsung, Philips, and Yale are also mentioned, indicating broad compatibility.
Q: In case of Wi-Fi configuration failure?
A: Please check the Wi-Fi password and ensure that the Wi-Fi connected to the device is on the 2.4G spectrum. It is recommended that the distance between the device, mobile phone, and router be within 1 meter during configuration.
Q: If the automatic lock function fails?
A: When the door is closed, the user can press and hold the indoor lock button for 5 seconds or press #0# + administrator password + 5#.
