The Philips DDL801-OP Octopus push-pull smart lock offers fingerprint, PIN, Octopus, mobile app and mechanical-key access, so family members can choose the entry method they prefer.
Octopus access for your family
Register your Octopus with the lock, then tap it on the reader to enter. Physical and the following mobile Octopus options are supported. Update or register Octopus again after transfer or replacement.
Compatible with Octopus on iPhone and Apple Watch, Octopus on Android, Huawei Pay Octopus, and Smart Octopus in Samsung Pay.

Gateway included for Home Access
The lock connects to the included gateway over Bluetooth. With home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and the Home Access app, use remote unlocking, check lock status and access records, and receive alerts. Place the gateway near the lock.

Also supports works with Hey Google and works with Alexa. Connected functions require the gateway, a network connection and the corresponding services.
Automatic locking, quick exit
The automatic mortise locks after the door closes and is paired with a C-grade cylinder. From inside, use the infrared-sensing handle, OPEN button or mechanical toggle.

- Choose any two of fingerprint, PIN and Octopus to verify entry.
- Hidden PIN entry
- Add extra digits before and after the valid PIN to make it harder for someone nearby to read the PIN directly.
- Multiple alerts
- Anti-dismantle, outside forced-lock, low-battery, abnormal-latch and system-lockout alerts are included, together with indoor deadlocking and defence mode.
- Doorbell and mute
- A doorbell is built into the panel. Hold “0” to switch mute mode.
Backup access when power is low
Replace the batteries promptly after a low-battery voice or light alert. Use the mechanical key for emergency entry, or connect a 5V power bank to the lock’s USB emergency-power interface.
Use 4 or 8 AA alkaline batteries. The battery box has two working power groups; replace all batteries together. The brand quotes approximately 10 months of battery life from internal laboratory testing. Actual operating time depends on usage.
Check your door before installation
Before buying, provide the door and frame materials, door thickness, opening direction, and photos of the existing lock and holes. Metal, glass or steel coverings and unusual door conditions require a fitting and accessory assessment.

Arrange installation
Pay the installer on site. Installation appointments require 7–10 working days; confirm the suitable package and any extra accessories first.
Complete first-use setup
Change the default administrator PIN after installation, register family members and keep the mechanical keys securely.

Hong Kong authorised stock includes a 2-year parts warranty from purchase, with free on-site warranty service in the first year. Keep the authorised retailer’s original sales invoice and warranty card, and use a technician recognised by the agent. The included gateway has a separate 1-year carry-in repair warranty.
