Compact drying for daily use
The Carrier DCM22FW combines compressor dehumidification with positive and negative ion air purification and a three-in-one filter. Its rated extraction is 22 L/day at 30°C and 80% RH, or 13.5 L/day at 26.7°C and 60% RH. Choose automatic dehumidification, laundry drying or sleep mode.
From daily humidity control to indoor laundry
Automatic dehumidification
Set the target humidity and let the unit control dehumidification. A touch panel and LCD display keep settings easy to read.
Laundry and sleep modes
Use laundry mode with the auto-swing airflow. Select Sleep mode when needed. The on/off timer can be set from 1 to 24 hours.
Dual-ion operation and a three-in-one filter
The dual-ion system releases positive and negative ions together. The supplied rear filter combines activated carbon, a formaldehyde-removal layer and silver-ion filtration, alongside the dehumidifying function.
- Fit the supplied three-in-one filter as directed before use.
- Choose fixed airflow or automatic swing through 40–84°.
Allow room for air to circulate
The body measures 340 mm wide, 520 mm high and 250 mm deep, with a carry handle and multidirectional castors. Leave at least 50 cm above and 20 cm at the front, rear and both sides during use.
Empty the tank before moving the appliance and keep it upright.
Tank collection or continuous drainage
The 4.55 L tank has a full indicator and overflow protection; operation stops when the tank is full. For continuous drainage, connect an 11 mm internal-diameter hose as instructed. Keep its end at least 10 cm below the drain outlet, with a clear downward path.
- A hose shorter than 1 m is recommended. Avoid bends and do not submerge the hose end.
- Automatic defrost and automatic restart after a power interruption are provided.

CS was helpful but the delivery took longer than expected. The dehumidifier is quiet and the ionizer works well, but the power cord is a bit short for my living room setup.
