Important Planning and Installation Notes

Please note: The door hinge cannot be reversed. When installing, no other appliance should be installed directly above the steam oven.

The drain hose outlet must be positioned at least 100 mm below the bottom edge of the appliance, and the total length should not exceed 5 meters. The water pipe connection must be easily accessible and should not be located directly behind the appliance.

The use of the Home Connect feature is dependent on service availability and is not available in all countries/regions. Please check home-connect.com for details.

I contacted CS about the water hardness warning (we live in Kowloon Bay). They suggested the external descaling system, which is an extra cost and hassle to maintain. The oven itself is great for baking, but the water management part is a bit too much maintenance for a busy mom.
