I chose this for the ion PLUS and the anti-corrosion coating. The air feels cleaner, and I'm optimistic it will withstand HK's humidity. BBE's online support was helpful in clarifying these features before I bought it.

The unit is quiet and cools well. However, we were disappointed that the Wi-Fi control requires an extra USB dongle that isn't included. The product page should make this clearer. For this price, it should be built-in.
