The cooling power is decent for its size. However, being a fixed-frequency model, you can hear the compressor click on and off. It's not as efficient as an inverter type, but for this price, it's an expected trade-off. The design is also quite basic.

The main reason I chose this inverter model was for its quiet operation, and it doesn't disappoint. The sleep mode is fantastic. The compressor doesn't make that loud 'clunk' sound like my old one. Finally a good night's sleep. Very satisfied.

The unit is surprisingly quiet, which is great for our small apartment. The cooling is very effective for our bedroom. We particularly chose this model for the Catechin filter, as the air quality in our area isn't the best. A solid choice.
